Hello Friends,

i have a FPV range issue since i baught Inspire 1. I havent been able fly  to distance more than 230 meters with unobstructed view.

Hard to say without more details.  What are you using for FPV?  I put my phone in airplane mode, and turn on hard decoding in the iOS app.  That has helped my FPV quality.  I've only flown it to 1500 feet away, but it works flawlessly.

Vishal,
disable the "AUTO" mode in the "IMAGE Transmission setting" after you press "HD"
Lower your image transmission quality to  "4MBPS"  by using the touch slider

select channel "32" or "30" i can guarantee you 1.86 mile unobstructed view...:-) let me know how that turns out


ps make sure your iphone 6 is in "airplane" mode..............maybe better with a bigger tablet iphone 6 is too small for the view
i use ipad air 2,   128 gb  (A8 processor) nice big bright screen do not need shades in bright sun at full brightness i found even my iphone 6 plus too small but maybe you are younger i am in my 50's

Will Turning on hardware decoding make any difference??

what about for Android does anybody know the settings

I couldn't get beyond 800m before red weak image warning came up then I read in this forum to put the iPad in flight mode as it is purely a monitor and if anything else is running eg: wifi/location services/Internet/clash of clans etc it will collectively interfere with rc.

I put the iPad into flight mode and exceeded 2klm on first go and have since reached 2.5klm (in open area no trees etc) and easily exceed 1200m with trees and hills before red warning comes up. The relief when this happened was like being let off a chain!

Update: today I flew 3.2klm (outback Queensland Australia - plenty of room) at altitude of 60m entire way. Round trip flight distance of 6.5klm, total flight time just over 9mins, battery level on 51% upon return. This aircraft continues to exceed my expectations!
