Hi,

Before the Mavic i flew a Phantom.
Steady as a rock and when flying the birds were terrified of the noise and the size.

But since flying the Mavic i notice the birds are like,...."That is a small bird,....Attack this Mavic!!!!".
Resulting in my Mavic being stopping in midair by the collision warning system.
And me having to centre the sticks so i can fly again.

Besides not flying, are there any other options on the Mavic to scare the living hell out of these birds?
Does placing eyes on the Mavic or maybe colorfull stickers have any positive results?

The birds will be sh***ing themselves when they see that. Lol

If they hit you from behind they will Never see it

I got nailed by a big seagull once but Mavic recovered. If you do think your going to be attacked don't try to run straight  away the best thing to do is climb straight up. They can't mimic that flight mode. They have usually  broken off attacks then.

I had even small birds try to attack it. The best way is to keep LOS and if you see them coming just speed UP WARD and then dive down toward them. This mimmick bigger bird attack and they usually run away. I have couple of hawks in the area they are actually afraid from the MAVIC. The minute they see it, they just climbe and climbe and climbe. lol

Anyone else having some experience with placing decals on the Mavic.
Does it scare birds ?

Or is it just waisting money?
