Good Morning All,
I have read under several posts that insurance is possible to get for our machines.  My question is how those who have it received it.  Are you a business that has business insurance, personal insurance that you added to, home owner insurance?  Also, what company did you use and did you specify that it was a UAV or aerial photography platform?

All of this will help those who dont have it yet.

In Canada you are required to carry a minimum of $100,000.00 liability insurance for commercial use. as a lot of companies require contractors working for them to carry $2 million liability thats what I carry as well as replacement for my UAV with a $250.00 deductible. as this is a new industry you should try to find a broker that understands the UAV industry a bit.
