Has anyone found a third party 12 volt car charger for spark? I would even settle for an adapter so I could use my Triton 3 Lipo charger.

You could also use a inverter for 12v Dc to 120ac then plug in the regular house power adapter that comes with the charging hub. You can get these car inverters pretty much everywhere Walmart Target amazon etc but doing this method is a waste of energy and less efficient

Doesn't the 3 battery charger have a micro USB port? Couldn't you just use USB?  I will test it tomorrow!

Doobry I think you are correct. I'd be interested to hear the charging time from around 10-20% battery when car charging. I guess I could do it huh?

I asked the question about the microusb port as well figuring it could be used for car charging, but I tried and it doesn't work. Someone said it is for firmware updates for the hub if necessary.   Hopefully a future firmware would allow for usb charging.
A power inverter if used while driving really isn't wasting energy as your car is putting out more then enough power from the alternator while driving

An Android-phone car-charger is suppose to work on Spark, according to the manual.

To charge Spark battery via Spark usb, you must use a usb charger provided with Spark. It requires at least 3A at 5 V which car usb adapter mostly cannot provide. A 140/300 w 12v to 120v inverter is a good choice.

Do you think a cheap inverter like this would be suitable for the charging hub?

my charger that plugs into cig liter works fine pluged into usb port on spark takes long time yio charge
