I've been having major issues connecting my RC to Spark and have actually only successfully managed it ONCE in the 5 days I've now owned it.
Seriously thinking of sending it back.

Here are the steps I follow:

Power on RC
Connect to RC Wi-Fi
DJI Go 4 home screen reads "RC Connected"
Power on Spark
Select "Enter Device" option in DJI Go 4
Yellow status lights continually flash on Spark indicating no connection to RC
DJI Go 4 app doesn't show any status message in upper left area where aircraft connection status is displayed (grey bar only)


After a period of time of leaving it like this (2 mins) the RC begins to beep at me.

You say DJI Go 4 home screen reads "RC Connected". When the yellow light is flashing the RC is still connected in the App?

If this was a fly more combo then  - while the spark is on, hold down the power button for 3 seconds you will hear 1 beep. That will put the spark in pairing mode for the RC.

You can also click on the remote icon on the home page of the DJI app and initiate the remote pairing

But I've already done this. Why do I need to repeat it? The connection should be remembered surely? ☹️

It is once you repair. But if you change the mode from RC to Cell connect then you have to change the mode back to RC before it will pair.

I got the exact same thing. Lost connection mid air and now it won't pair anymore with the RC.

Just to say this situation is much better for me now since the re-pair.
