Fully updated CS 5.5 with a fully updated Inspire 2.  When starting everything up, the Go4 on the CS reports that the firmware is current.  A dialogue box pops up for a Data Update (Connect aircraft to update your data), followed by a two step instruction on how to connect with a USB cable. I set the switch on the I2 to the up position (mobile device), and connect the cable before hitting OK.  After that, nothing happens, and the system functions normally until the next time I start up everything.
Steps taken:
CrystalSky update (fully updated)
CrystalSky factory reset, then update check (still fully updated)
Checked firmware of I2 using Go4 on an iPad.  iPad confirms what thet CS reported. Firmware on I2 is up to date.

I'm baffled.

Ditto. And the instruction screen that follows this one doesn't make sense, or isn't clear as to what we are supposed to do (with the "attached" cable?)

Adding to the fun, the system now also tells me that there is a firmware mismatch. Since the CS and I2 system are both fully updated, I can't imagine how that is actually possible.

Same is happening on my P4P with built in screen , I was going to buy the Crystalsky for my Inspire 2 , but I am now having second thoughts
after reading the problem posts for Crystalsky and just stick with my  Ipad Air 2 .
