I am not a video editor so I would like to call on the experience of the members here: Is there a software that can get rid of video noise? On nighttime footage, in the dark areas it can look like it is raining. I am using a Mac.

The reason that I asked the question is that I shoot video while I fly that I license through a stock agency. About 1/5th of the files that I have submitted were rejected because of excessive noise. In all cases, the rejected files were nighttime shots.

But, I solved my own problem. There are several  softwares that are very effective at scrubbing out the noise. I chose Neat Video. Neat Video is a plugin for host applications such as FCP and Premier. I must say that it works very well. The price is reasonable at $99.90.
