I flew P4 with the .600 firmware update and I have to say it's much better, but I haven't flown more than 200 feet away from HP. I was able to put it up to 400 vertical feet without running into "weak transmission signal" but I did notice that upon descent, it's incredibly wobbly. It's close. I have to fly far out to see how that goes.

Thanks for getting back to us! As for the wobble issue during descent, please help to export the corresponding flight log at that time, we'd like to review it.

Wisnia, what I saw is when at first start-up of the Drone the IMU ACC2 is working, and the Drone hovers unstable. I land and restart the Drone, then the IMU ACC1 is working and the Drone hovers stable.? Most of the time I have to restart the Drone for a stable hover.

Will the new firmware fix all these issues And have the new modes (gesture, draw, terrain follow, tripod, trace, profile, free-sub, etc) ? I would love to have these new modes but I'm afraid to update because everyone I know is having serious problems with the 0106 firmware.

Did you try the latest beta firmware 2.00.600 ? My Phantom 4 fly's very smooth with it, think about that

I would like to try the beta firmware.

I have same problems with wobble unstable flight and signal loss (p4 returns home). Is there chance to get beta FW? Im flying as part of my job so it would be very important to get drone safe and stable.

Sir, I have received message in PM. Double check, the drone you referred is P4, instead of P4P, right? As I also received your message in P4P section, please kindly note they are two drones with different firmware. And the beta we talked here is not related with no live feed directly. Please try to refresh the current firmware and link RC again.

I had a problem of that sort with my P3 Standard. Somehow, the controller lost it's calibration and the right stick was not functioning. I simply re-calibrated the controller and everything worked. The tell tale was when the copter would not start using the sticks when pushe to the middle.

What's going on with the new stable release firmware. It has been 6 months since these problems started and still No fix. With all the resources dji has, I'm pretty sure all it would take is a day's work. Hell even I can do it if you guys released the source code. This is not the way to run a business.

They’re working on it and are close to a new release. The Beta fixed mine right up.

I bought the phantom 4 from so many because it seemed a great choice .... yesterday ...... !!!
nowadays I have to say pity that "with growing up it is ruining"
it seems to me very strange that all those who have the phantom 2/3 fly ...... and we stupid phantom owners 4 must be afraid ...... to lose it, destroy it, see nothing more about transmission issues , buy you do not know what tablet or phone to hope that it works ...... !!!!

I'm really sorry and I would like to go back to the old djigo app with the old firmmaware ..... because yesterday it was true it did less things ...... but it did so well ...... now does not do it .. .......

I have the latest software, firmware, and I'm registered ...... but

1) I miss the registration of flights ........ (sometimes i have no flight log)

2) I miss the radio signal without reason .....

3) I had to change the photo format from 16: 9 to 4: 3 to be able to take advantage of the cam to 12 mpx altrikenti was nine

4) Stops video recording ........... without reason ....

5) it shakes as if it was cold

6) there are three flight choices "P S A" but always fly in "S" splint as if it were ..... !!!!


a request I can get the old software and firmaware .... I WANT TO FLY SAFE.

DJI Assistant 2 is used to calibrate visual positioning system of the drone. To calibrate your gimbal camera you need to connect your device with remote and power on the drone, than from dji go 4 app settings go to gimbal options and start auto calibration on flat surface

Can someone help me:
To cut a long story short: does anyone have the P4 Beta .600 release in .bin format to be restored using Dumbledore or can advise how I can get the beta version?

The long story: I had the wobbling issues reported by many over here: I tried all steps of re-celebrating IMU and vision sensors using DJI Assistant 2 to celebrate vision sensors. Only when I restored back to V01.02.0602 or V01.02.0503, did the wobbling stop. However, now when I fly <2 meter off the ground, it starts hopping like crazy. I can't seem to re-celebrate the vision sensors with Assistant 2, because the program doesn't progress. Tired with mac and windows. Now, I understand that they have been working on a .600 beta which promises to fix the wobbling issues. Thanks

For the unit that has been expired, it is not available to repair with free according to DJI's policy, please kindly understand. If you do not want to repair, please let us know and we would arrange return without repair.
