Mine is doing the same, I was flying in no wind, when I am flying sideways it is perfect but shakes when going forward and backwards.

My Phantom 4 has the same problem. Hope that DJI launch next firmware soon

Just to make sure I am on the same page, you are referring to a Phantom 4, right? Have you tried the beta firmware?

It'd be 4.5 months of unflyable. Thanks DJI. I'd like my $1600 back!

When will the new firmware be launched? We are almost 5 months waiting for it. Patience has a limit.

Mine too, shakey and it wont go over 90 feet now. Was working fine before upgrade.

I’ve got that problem tried all sorts to fix it

Thank you Susan for enabling me to get the Beta FW, I have upgraded my P4 and everything works OK.

I havent been able to give everything a going over but main thing I now have my drone airworthy again

I did it but it's not flying like before. It is better than with the last firmware, but it can't fly in a straight line at all. It's not the same, even with downgrade. The problem here is not the downgrade with 3rd parties software, but is Why DJI is taken so long to release the new firmware.

thanks for the beta, yesterday I did about 20 min of flying, no 4k recording block,
gimbal ok, some small imperfections on flight stability but much improved compared to before. it is now necessary to resume flying confidence after months of p4 instability.

Check your sensors status to see if your IMU needs calibration and compasses for interference. Sometimes re-calibration helps for rock stability

Thanks for the feedback, but for the issues you have now, please try the answer on 1735#, if it doesn't help, could you please provide me with more details? Would like to check and do the best to help.

I noticed that the hovering stable at about one meter of the ground shakes a bit .. I hear the engines sobbing .. while it has improved much downhill .. I did all the calibrations after loading the firmware beta except the vps which did not i can with assistence 2 v 1.18 .. i get restarted p4. in any way no error message in dji go. next days I will do other tests and new test flights. I hope my contribution can help dji and the whole community.

Mine is acting weird as well, I flew toward me at high speed and when tried to break to slow down it’s almost like it didn’t slow down and hit a friend, lucky he wasn’t hurt, the app disconnected but could still control it but wouldn’t land because I had it set on terrain follow, camera would point off to one side, left a believe.

My P4 is running on the beta .600 and it's stable for sure, but my only problem is that it disconnects at about 2400 feet away and then RTH. Anyone else having limited range issues?

]Yes I am sure we have all been told the Beta version is the way to go, and there are lots of people asking for a copy of the Beta version, HOWEVER, any of the Beta versions are not the latest version and from the posts here it seems well over 90% of people using ANY Beta versions are saying their Drone is not working correctly is some way, shape or form.
A Beta version is not the answer to everyones' issues, no matter what you do.
The answer here is we all need a software version that works correctly and provides us with a working drone based on what DJI state in all of their marketing that the drone is supposed to do.
Everyone that is excepting any of the Beta versions are basically saying to DJI that this is OK and we are happy to use the Beta version. This is not a fix and not a final solution.
Yes I am one of them that has previously asked for a beta version and I have tried all the Beta versions available to me and after doing all the updates, Calibrations etc etc etc etc, none of them work correctly.
DJI are always coming up with new software and making us update, so WHY is it taking so long to come up with a new software this time that works????
In any other situation, what do we all normally do when a product we have bought doesn't work as promised by the manufacture !!!

Just checked it, the beta firmware has been added to your account about 1 week ago. I've re-added it again, please double check it via DJI Assistant 2. if it still the same, please provide us with another DJI Account email. Besides, just to verify, the drone is a P4, right?

same problem here my friend. 4months ago i have strong signal and going 13123 feet and now i have only 3000 feet. wtf is going on with the signal?? i have downgrade to older version but the problem remains. i think with this new updates we have taken a hardware failure. i dont know im very disappointed. i have try olders versions of firmware 1year ago versions and the problem remains. maybe we have a hardware failure because of this crazy updates. failure updates. sory for my english. if you have new please answer me
