If I'm using the hardwired connection from the phone/iPad to the RC, I cannot fly above 98 feet.  It keeps telling me I've reached the limit.  I don't have this problem when flying over wifi, just when flying over a hardwired connection.  Any idea why?

Is your drone still in beginner mode? That limits to 30 meter (100 feet i think)

Go to settings and turn off beginner mode...

It's not in beginner mode.  That's exactly how it's behaving, but beginner mode is disabled.

I surely can't be the only one that has this problem when using OTG with the RC.  Is everyone that's using this setup able to fly either above, or away, from yourself more than 98-100 feet?  I have no problems flying beyond that without the OTG cable, but as soon as I try a hardwired connection, the app tells me I have reached the limit when getting to 98 feet.  I do NOT have beginner mode on and my altitude cap is at 400 ft.  Does no one but me have this issue?

Make sure the app has internet connectivity when you start it.  I believe that you are limited in range when it cannot verify the no fly zone info.

I have used an OTG cable and flown out past 2000 feet.

could be due to no GPS signal... Replay your flight record to see what was the actual error...

If you fly wifi and without the OTG you will get your distance and altitude back, OTG is pretty much useless with the spark now.

even with or with OTG those won’t have limited warning apply.  Are you sure login to DJI GO properly?  As your flight distance will be limited if not login to DJI go.
