Is (or will) there be a charging dock for the Spark?

There is one for the batteries......is that what you mean?

It is anticipated that a charging dock that has been spotted in the wild will hopefully be released sometime soon. It's supposed to charge the spark with battery attached and one battery on each side. It looked portable because it had some sort of plastic clip on top holding everything in place. You can see a part of it if you go to DJI.com and scroll down to "buy spark button" look at the accessories around it and it's the one that isn't currently available.

I would think it would be available sooner rather than later. I think I read somewhere that DJI had one at the kick off event plus the external charging contacts on the bottom of the battery do nothing without it.

Yup there is, I recently wrote an article on the best accessories to go alongside your DJI and a charging dock as one there. You can charge up to three batteries at the same time, which is pretty useful. It's not the cheapest accessory you're going to find but worth it in my opinion! That's charging HUB you're talking about. We are waiting for spark charging DOCK. Where you can put your whole drone on it and it will charge through contacts underneath it without removing battery. It is not out yet

I noticed the 4 golden contacts underneath the battery indeed but I haven't seen the famous dock yet.

Is it visible somewhere?

I'm actually hoping for both, as in the car adapter tucks away into the dock when not in use. Charging on the field sounds pretty awesome, even if it is just 1 charge x 3 batteries at once.
