I started the firmware download in the app, it reached 100% but it seems to be frozen - nearly 1 hour, how long should this take a, should I just try and cancel it and start again ?

Yes, if it's been like that for an hour I'd just cancel and retry. Mavic firmware upgrade hangs are unfortunately pretty common, but they're also almost always harmless.

Mine also took an hour at the end it said 100% went to turn it off and it had download I guess at the end it doesn't tell you its finished ...just say 100% download
