Dij GS pro gives error of 'please connect with RC no obstacle avoidance system' when trying to prepare for a flight. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am using a phantom 3 4k.

     You have to go into the Sensor Settings for the Aircraft in the General Settings page of the Flight Desk (upper right - 3 lines icon).  There you can enable the sensor and obstacle avoidance options.

     The DJI Ground Station Pro page at the DJI web site says that both the camera and the platform are compatible with the program, so you should not have a problem.  If it persists, maybe you have to disable the obstacle avoidance option in the GS Pro options page (if there is one).

The P3 4k does not have an obstacle avoidance system, I think the app is simply telling you that.

It won't let me start flight without that being green

I also don't have settings in the gs pro app.... three dots only gets me to 'help' menu

The 'start to fly' button is greyed out until the 'connect to rc no obstacle avoidance system'  turns green.  All docs day It should work correctly but it is not.

     Like Geebax is saying, look at the problem as if the program is saying that there will be no "Obstacle Avoidance".  That is the important part.  

     When I look at the message, it seems to me that the program is saying for you to set-up the WiFi so the Bird can connect to the RC or so the program on the iOS device can connect to the RC.  The P3 4K has its own set of challenges just to get it flying, so you would know better how to handle that process.  Think of what Geebax and I are saying as translation (just trying to be helpful).

Thanks for the input. I do have the controller connected via wifi to the Bird and RC as I can fly with no issues using the standard dji go app. I am sure I am missing something but just can't seem to find it.

So, here's my issue: I'm flying a M100 with an X5 (tried both DJI 15mm and Oly 12mm lenses) and using GSPro for ag mapping. My issue is with the angle the
camera sits at about 30° perpendicular rather than straight. Anyone else experiencing this? Also, without custom leg extensions, the camera hits the ground before takeoff because it's trying to position downward before takeoff, and the gimble goes limp

The software I process my orthomosaics in doesn't know what to do with the files. It never maps the whole area correctly.
