Has anyone had a hard time flying into Mexico with a drone? Just need to know what I may encounter?

If its a phantom 4 or below you wont have any problem, the law specifies 5kg and up aircraft must be registered and licenced by Mexican regulations. I have a phantom 4 for my bussines and it's just below the limit, as long as you dont fly it near airports or military bases its ok
