I'm sure this out there somewhere but I've read conflicting answers, what is the output voltage and current rating of the B connector on the Inspire 2 charger please? I have a 7.85" CS on order but I only have the Mavic and Spark but I do have 200A lipo charger so I should be able to select the correct voltage and current with that and pick up a plug for the charging base.

How is the internal battery of the CS charged, USB?

Thanks!

Not sure about the Inspire charger, but the Phantom 3 charger i bought for my CS outputs 17.4v @ 3.3A. According to the avaliable information, i can't use the USB port on the charging hub while charging the CS battery.
As for the internal battery, i have no idea. The screen turns off when you remove the external battery, and turns back on again when you insert the battery.

I have the same question. Would be nice to be able to use the CrystalSky without the giant battery.

The external battery when inserted is the one that charges the internal battery. Checked

I agree. It would be very interesting to be able to use the internal battery while charging the external battery

I am able to use my CS 5.5 mounted on the P4A controller without using the bulky battery. The controller seems to provide enough power thru the cable.

My Mavic controller does not provide enough though so I have to use the battery on the CS for it.
