Hi All, Yesterday i had taken off my spark from below the tree (was almost out of the tree shade), battery went low and RTH was initiated by the spark itself and i realized it may land on the tree branch, once RTH is initated can i still take control to ensure it does not lands on a tree branch.

By the way it landed on the tree and had to climb on it to get it back, all looks fine but haven't flown it again to see if any error is there.

Thanks in advance.

Just "cancel" RTH and you can take over control to land in a safer spot.
Manual V1.2 ENG, Page 14 is a list of different RTH modes and what you can do in the app i.e. "cancel" them

Absolutely and if you can't ... My very first crash was due to a critically low battery and couldn't be cancelled so I tilted the camera down and steered it towards a lesser of two evils, rock vs water. You are always able to steer it (even trottle up) if you can't cancel RTH. Hope this also helps.

If you manually take control and land your aircraft, make sure you cancel the RTH. If not, you can cause a flyaway.

Why this? How should be a flyawy caused by a manually landed aircraft during rth?

If you manually land it and don't cancel the RTH, the aircraft will still try to RTH, causing an occasional flyway. You can usually control it but it can be pretty scary when it happens.

Your best option is to press pause, and give yourself time to figure what your next move will be, pause will stop you from panicking which is the cause of many crash
