up to 4km .... last tested by a thai friend was 3.4km

NO... its WiFi

Yup ..Wi-Fi.. Fpv don't expect same as those with lightbright. Still it's a good piece of machine if handle well.

I would say the same as the S.... its called P3 4K here in the WEST ie uk....us....eu  etc etc ........ but the SE camera is different spec and has the SD slot in the camera like the P3S.

It is NOT  a P3 4K - they are different versions ...... they only have some similarities - as all P3's do. DJI is adamant they are not same model. If they were same model -  there would not be present situation of only 'grey imports' outside China. DJI are still not officially shipping SE outside China ....

The Phantom SE do not have Lightbridge. This product is available for Mainland China only.

Yes - many of us have seen Tomtop and Gearbest as well as various eBay traders selling the SE.

The question is - You buy the SE in say UK ... and it has faults. You contact DJI ... who then ask you - Where did you get it from ?  

Tomtop - I contacted them and asked if the SE was Certified for EU / USA and what was the CE number etc.

All I got was - Yes its 'accepted' with no further details.

If it does have CE ... then I'd like to know how ... as I understand it - manufacturer is the one to get CE not a reseller. I may be wrong.

FW failure blew the P3P and its back to DJI for repair.

Mine was a Vers 1 and the later FW is designed more for Vers 3 ....

I wait to hear whether I pay the bill or DJI accept it ... anyway - its being repaired.

My P3S is on eBay ... but probably I shall rip out the guts and create an own machine for FPV. The motors / ESC's are good ... so means FC and RX  with FPV camera / TX setup.

You know ALL about batteries, what you think about "compatibles"?
They work on P3S or may have problems?
