Its seem now there's another glitch in the firmware update causing Ipad cpu to over heat. those are Ipad that are not using a A10 chip. so be aware.

Yup... I use both iPad mini 2 and iPhone 6Plus and the message come out most of the time after App Update and Firmware Update to the latest last week. Later Video feed will be broken and go hairwire...
It happen while I am using Phantom 4 also.. which never happen before!

Maybe just an idea...
1. App hardware acceleration or maybe its protocol. (now no switching)
2. Video Channel Transmission Protocol.

DJI should correct this ASAP as I cannot use DJI GO 4 often now. Need to use Litchi then OK...

A new release was put out 4.1.4 but I'm reading in the forum that there's issue with that up date also.

Your are going to have to be more specific.  Nothing on the page you referenced says anything current about any firmware update.  There is a new version of DJI Go 4 (4.1.4) which has nothing for the Mavic, so I don't suppose many of us here will be upgrading to it.  Are you a spark or a mavic pilot neo0?

This is the new function added to iOS DJI GO/GO 4 app since version 3.1.12/4.1.2. It will test the usage of the mobile device's CPU, when CPU is overloaded, decoding of transmission and flight communication system may be affected and the device will get heat. We suggest that users use a monitor hood or avoid the direct sunlight to the mobile screen.

This is a new adding to the iOS device, so another iOS device might also have this reminder pops up when the CPU overloaded. This is partly related to the software of DJI GO app. The Android device doesn't have this reminder pops up.
We suggest that users use a monitor hood or avoid the direct sunlight to the mobile screen. That will reduce the app's running stress of the device.

I use a hood and avoid direct sunlight but get the same message on my iPad mini 2 .... therefore I can say the advice do not solve the issue.

DJI Thor is correct that the Android version does not have this warning, the app just crashes instead.

4.1.4 no changes. ipad mini2. first 2 minutes of flight everything fine, then frame dropping, cpu warning, than useless. stop recording-stream is fluent. cache off, background refresh off, sitting in the shade.. same flight, android with no problems

I use the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.  GO4 has been consistently/constantly crashing since early March.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is on the support device list, if it keeps crashing, could you please try to reinstall it again to see if it works? Or please provide the info below and I'll transfer it to our engineers.
1. Operations before and when the Android device crashes
2. Aircraft model
3. Android version number
4. DJI GO app’s version number (shown under Settings of Me in the app)
5. Crash log, (connect the device to the computer to export it: /sdcard/DJI/dji.go.v4 /LOG/CRASH)
6. Your DJI account
