Did the first test today of the 4.1.4 GO4 software and chose save to SD card.  I have a very fast SD card 64GB EVO UHS-I/U3 card.  The video downlink was unusable as half the screen on my S7 was grey and updated about every second.  I had to fly back and restart the aircraft and controller and turn off save to SD and everything was back to the normal video feed.  Yet another feature enhancement for a fundamentally broken app.

Wasn't 4.1.4 for Android pulled off the store due to that very issue?

It has nothing to do with your phone's SD Card, it happens regardless of the storage method you select, and it happens on many different Android devices. At least on my region the app was pulled back from the store. Uninstall, clean up DJI folders using the file explorer and download it again from Google Play, it should download 4.1.3 again.

The 7/25/17 version is still in the play store for me.  I will try to uninstall and reinstall, but I think it's going to be the same version.

I wouldn't be surprised if the "save to SD card" feature is one of those things that works great for some Android device/version combos and poorly on others.

I have just installed 4.14 for ios but haven't tried it yet. Is ios also going to have the same problem?

iOS doesn't support MicroSD cards.
