As we all known that DJI Spark can shot a photo with Full Resolution ( 12 Mpx) instead of just 1080p by Hand Gesture with the condition of having to connect to the smartphone / RC first.
But I realized that there is a bug in DJI Go or Spark's Firmware when we take-off the Spark (Gesture Mode) before we connect the smarphone with it.
Its decribed as follows:
1) Power on the Spark .
2) Double press power button to take-off and go to Gesture Mode function.
3) Connect the smartphone with Spark via Wifi (under Mobile Controller Mode). Run DJI Go.
4) Shot a photo by Hand Gesture while the smarphone still connected to Spark in order to you can view the real time image.
5) From DJI Go screen, go to View Album. Download the picture we just shot into the smartphone or you can copy it to the PC directly via an USB cable.
6) Check info of the photo. Its resolution only 1080p instead of Full Resolution 12Mpx.

However, if you swap the order of the step 2 for step 3 . You can get a 12Mpx photo.

This is Photo not Video. You should try as I described both way.

You are correct. Damn thing is I sometimes do not have the time to connect my phone, so I hope they will fix this 'issue'.
