Have you tried the Return Home on hillside scenario.
On a hiking mission, I have on 1,000 ft above sea level and launch the Mavic Pro.   Then trigger the Return Home function.   What will happen?

I am asking to avoid losing my Mavic Pro.

Your take off point is 0 feet AGL no matter where you start from.  If you just fly straight up to 1.000 feet, the craft will just land in RTH. But if you fly away, you have to watch all obstacels which are higher then this 0 feet AGL and adjust your RTH acccordingly to theis. So if you fly up to a mountain top and there are some 30m trees, you have to set your RTH height as: height of slope + height of trees.

No need to worry! it records your takeoff height at 0! Therefore if you have a return to home at 50 feet, it will rise to 1050 and then come back
