I just updated to the new firmware.
My Osmo+ records as it should.
However my Adroid Nexus 6 is now very sporadic.
Sometimes video monitor in color works for a a few seconds.
Then the image turns to black&white and freezes.
I can turn the gimbal and nothing happens.
All I see on the phone is the same static B&W picture.
I've deleted the DJI Go app and redownloaded it.
I've reset my Osmo+ several times by holding down trigger, shutter, and On/Off switch.
Please help me?
I tried the things in your video, but I had already totally rebooted numerous times to no avail.
Everything was working fine previously.
And then I did the firmware update.
I'm wondering if there was something wrong with this update that has kiiled my Osmo+.
I need something reliable and unfortunately this isn't working anymore.
After upgrading my firmware all I get now on my phone is the B&W image and I don't see what I'm recording. I get a actual recorded footage from my Osmo+ but my phone only shows a static B&W image.
What happened? Did the firmware update kill my Osmo+ ?
Please, Help?
Dronesinairs,
I've tried every combination of "forced stop" and 3 button reset on the Osmo+ and I still have the same problem...
When I first get a link to the phone I have a full color image for a couple of seconds that is fully live and shows full motion video.
Then after 1 to 2 seconds the image turns to Black&White and then freezes.
I'm at my wits end.
The Osmo+ itself works perfectly and is actually recording video.
It's the phone WiFi connection that is the problem.
Sending it in to DJI would accomplish nothing as the Osmo+ is fully functional without the phone.
If I can't get any help on this, it will have to go into the junk box and I'll have to look for something for video that actually works.
I really do want my Osmo+ to work like it has in the past before this firmware update.
What can I be doing wrong?
Help anybody?

Q#1 Are you able to tell what firmware is currently running?
Sometimes people have the same issue and can help or a DJI rep sometimes might have an answer.Q#2 Did you try email or phone actual support? Or was DJI the ones who said "sending it in"? http://www.dji.com/support
Q#3 Also I know you said it worked fine on your Nexus 6 before the update, but have you tried another phone or tablet?
Q#1: 1.5.0.90
Q#2: I'll try a manual firmware upgrade, although the recent upgrade said it completed.
Q#3: Great idea. I Have a Nexus 7 tablet. I'll give that a try! If it works I'll have to assume it's the Nexus 6 phone.
I have firmware version 1.5.0.90
Apparently I have the latest firmware and the manual update refuses to start.
So I have to assume it's good and already updated.

Some more steps to try:
What can I do if the image transmission screen is black, freezes or the image transmission is delayed?
(1)Remove the SD card. Check whether this issue occurs, because the SD card is malfunctioning.
(2)Try with another normally functioning mobile device on the Recommended Device List. Check whether the mobile device is compatible with the Osmo.
(3)Check whether the connector on the quick release port is blocked or bent. If there is a red plastic piece on the metal piece, remove it.
(4)Try to switch the frequency band of the Wi-Fi to 5GHz.
(5)Power off the Osmo. Press Trigger, Record Button and Power Button to reset Wi-Fi.
Step 5 video :O
OK. Everything works fine using my Nexus 7 tablet!
I then went back to my Nexus 6 phone.
Black screen.
I did a 3 button reset of the Osmo+
Everything worked fine for a couple of seconds and then frozen B&W image once again.
The problem is something with the Nexus 6 phone.
I uninstalled both DJI GO and DJI GO4.
(I have a Mavic Pro)
I installed only DJI GO.
Now the only app installed is DJI GO.
Still a black screen when trying to run Osmo+
So the problem doesn't seem to be an interaction between DJI GO and DJI GO4.
The Osmo+ works fine with my Nexus 7 tablet.
The Osmo+ no longer works with my Nexus 6 phone.
The Osmo+ worked with my Nexus 6 phone just fine in the past.
I wanted to use the Osmo+ a couple of days ago.
I opened the DJI GO app and there was a firmware update available.
So I did the firmware update and got the message update successful.
Nexus 6 phone no longer works.
Nexus 7 tablet works fine.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
OK. Since the problem seems to be only with the Nexus 6 phone.
And I have no clue what the problem is with the Nexus 6 phone.
I've made the painful decision to do a factory reset on the Nexus 6.
Factory reset in progress....
Problem Solved!
After the Factory Reset, I still had the exact same problem.
After 1 to 2 seconds frozen with B&W image.
Then I went through the sync process once again.
I noticed that the same dialog box always appeared with...
"WiFi has no Internet Access"
I noticed at the bottom is said "Tap for Options"
I tapped the dialog box and what should appear?
"This network has no Internet Access, Stay Connected? Yes No"
I tapped YES and now everything works as it should.
It stays connected and everything works just as it should!
I never had to do this before, but now I know how to make it work!
Every time I use my Osmo+ I have to tap the dialog box and say "YES" to Stay Connected!
I can remember to do that!
Problem solved.
Well, it's even better than I thought!
The dialog box that says,
"This network has no Internet Access, Stay Connected? Yes No"
Has a check box that says, "Don't ask me this again".
I checked it and now I no longer get asked the questions and...
Everything just works as it always did.
I'm a happy camper!
Case Closed!
Problem Solved!
I shouldn't have opened two threads with the same problem.
Go look at the thread with my icon and the just the heading "Osmo+".
And see the resolution.
