Hi Guys.

Im interested in finding out out how most users make their videos and pictures.
Im pretty new to taking videos and doing post pro, but i am a technical person, so interested in learning a bit.
Do most of you use the automativ movie maker that spark has in their dji app? Or do you use an external program to make the edits??


I think the automatic videos are a great tool, but they don't give me any control of what i want. Also they are so cheesy
So i started using Lightroom for some basic editing and imovie to do the cutting.

Id like to know your procedure!

You can try using DaVinci Resolve, it's free on their website

well i use iMovie that comes with mac but other than that i do not know any apps. imovie isn't good for adjusting color or anything just cutting out frames and transitioning to the next and what not. i find if you edit the video's color and stuff it makes it have a bad jello affect. keep in mind that i am also new to this and my info may not be accurate

Another vote for DaVinci Resolve. Just wish we had the option of a flat colour profile with the Spark so there was a bit more flexibility with colour grading.

Davinci looks pretty cool. Im watching a tutorial right now.

So do you then Film in Auto mode or Manual?

I use Final Cut Pro , and motion 5 for the intro, gret software , but expensive ....on the MAC

I use lightworks freeware for editing my videos. it helps me do some color correction too.. Im also new to this stuff

I use FCP X...

Most of the time, it is film in auto, but I do prefer to film it manually
