I was so damn scared I couldn't barely stand to move. As you can see, I only looked side to side, was not about to try to follow, approach, run away, haha

My MP was "attacked" by a passing  red macaw here in Brazil... I thought I made some cool shots like this, only to realize that I forgot to start recording... damn! Why DJI Go doesn't have an option to start recording when the MP take off?

Yea, thought wouldn't really be feasible. You could fill a SD card completely up just getting to the point where you want to take your shot. This video was 20 minutes into the current flight. I would have been heart broken if my SD card would have filled up before, or during, this.

I would do what a drone can do, but not birds; fly straight up. Fly up and gone Also, wouldn't hurt to put a set of eyes on top of your Mavic pro too. Mavic and Spark's Stickers.

Thankfully birds are way more skilled in the air than our drones. You keep your distance, and trust that the bird doesn't really want to collide with another object. They've been sharing the sky with other flying creatures for millions of years!

I know, that's what has always been memorizing about birds, especially majestic ones like birds of prey...

Really cool shot! Once my mavic was attaced by 20-30 birds,  they fley so close that the sensors on the drone tought i was crashing, and everything shot down.
I was not abale to move the drone, and i was sure that i lost it, in the end i tried the return to home button again, and it came back, i was so happy!

The birds in my neighborhood have been avoiding me! No more great footage like this, haha.

Probably best you kept the Mavic in place.  Attempting to flee might have triggered a predatory instinct.

good news about hawks is they are not very aggressive unless you are bothering their nest.. if they are out cruising or hunting or eating,  they typically will avoid you. or keep distance...   the birds that i find give me the biggest trouble are always smaller birds.. i imagine an eagle would give me issues but i haven't seen one close yet, heard a few warning calls on my farm when flying over the back woods..

Thanks! And no filter, or post... I am a complete novice in all things photography, so this is as original as it gets.

4k, 30fps, I believe I used the 'true color' profile in app (does that count as a filter?)
