Went hiking in the Alps and brought along the Sparky. When trying some Quickshot modes, I realised I forgot to insert the SD card, it was still stuck in the laptop in the caravan ;)
So I removed the one from the smartphone.
Tried some Quickshot modes (Helix, Dronie, Rocket) on the peak at 2400m of altitude. It was quite windy and I was nervous seeing the little sparky being shaken by the wind, but everything went just fine.
Unfortunately, the optical tracking during Quickshot does not work perfectly, when we disappear behind the cross the function loses us as from focus. Would be nice if it could circle around the RemoteControl as a sender.
Just for info... (sorry the article is in French)
its about the rules that should be followed for UAVs on the French side of the Alps, especially near Mont Blanc.

Thanks for the great feedback!
@ Mtioupi: so what does the French article say basically?
@ Mtioupi: so what does the French article say basically?
it's basically an interview summary of the captain of PGHM (High Mountain Gendarms Platoon) in Chamonix.
He is reminding the rules above the National Parc of Mont-Blanc, and other specific areas in this neighborhood. He is telling that they helicopter pilots and operators that are there either for safety or for supplying of high mountain refuges are meeting more and more drone while they shoudln't and that an accident almost happened last may.
Rules are (strictly for French side, but given the reason why the rules are there, I hope similar things apply on the other Swiss and Italian sides) :
-natural reserves of Aiguilles Rouges, Passy, Sixt Fer à Cheval and Dômes de Miage ore forbidden of flight for leisure drones, and forbidden for registered professional UAVs above 1000 AMSL. All year long
- area LFR-30B (massif du mont blanc) is forbidden from july 1st to August 31st
- area LFR-30A is forbidden all year long
