I’m planning a trip that includes using my P4P+ and in my research of some of the areas I plan to fly at is just outside the areas of http://www.dji.com/flysafe/no-fly. My questions is; what happens if the drone bumps up against the no fly zone, does it land the aircraft or does it not allow it to proceed past that boundary? I don’t want the drone dropping onto a road or­ into an area I can’t retrieve it. Thanks for your help.

There was a thread on this a few weeks ago.  The consensus was that the AC would bump up against the NFZ but not enter it.  It would not auto land unless it ran low on battery.

Actually, the motors can not be started in NFZ. If you are flying toward to NFZ, the drone will slow down and hover. However, if the drone enters NFZ without GPS signal, it will descend automatically once GPS signal retrieved.
