Will the Go 4.1.4 update demand an aircraft firmware update too please?

A problem I sometimes encounter with the sudden release of the Go 4 updates is that suddenly it performs an auto update of that software and when finished, the camera on the aircraft fails to work properly and even the aircraft can fail to work.  This is most inconvenient when you are on location, have no laptop with you and you cannot attach your aircraft to Assistant 2.  

Given that it is always a possibility that this might be the case, and updating one whilst not updating the other can result in you being completely grounded, what is the solution please?  Why is there no DJI Assistant for Android instead of laptop, because mobile devices are more likely to be the most convenient item you hold at any given time to connect to the internet?

Just disable auto update in google play store, you can find it in the menu, somewhere in settings. then whait for reviews before you do the update manualy.

Generally, we would recommend you to update the firmware and APP together to the latest version so that the performance can be ensured. Actually, we support to update firmware via DJI GO and DJI Assistant 2 as well. Below are the tutorial videos for reference:
