I have one issue
Just can't connect my dji spark drone with spark remote control
Tried all ways to connect it, but nothing happens
Any suggestion?
Here is how it going on

Please refer to the video below to try it for several times. If it is the same, please try to press and hold the power button for 3 seconds when the drone is on. See if you can hear a beep?

I've try it off course. If you saw my video above.

What can I say I try all firmwares for the Spark and Remote Control. For today there are three different firmwares for both devices
DJI Spark: v01.00.0300 v01.00.0400 v01.00.0500
Spark Remote Control v01.00.0002 v01.00.0100 v01.00.0300
So, I have tried all combination of firmwares and nothing, rc do not connecting to the drone.
For example drone firmware v01.00.0300 not working with RC firmwares (v01.00.0002; v01.00.0100; v01.00.0300) and all other combination didn't work.

For this moment I don't have any ideas....

I just received my radiocommand and I have the exact same problem...

Neither the with phone or without phone way worked.

I message the support via twitter and i'll keep looking if there is a way (i think with all the videos i've seen some were talking about it and there was something to do with the 6 second button press on the spark (doubl beep).
I'll post it here if i can find it...

lots of "hommade" solutions to try, i 'll look at it later...

It start to be very frustrating as i have also the invisible wifi problem (Android/europe : https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... D436%26typeid%3D436 )

So, i've do some tests
Take my RC to the shop and try to connect it to the new drone "from the shelf" and it connected from the first time, now I think there is my spark issue

So? There are any news?
Maybe someone knows where antenna is located inside on the mainboard ?
I think that,s this module issue.

1) Bring DJI Spark outdoor and Power On. This is a very important step. 2) Connect smartphone with Spark. 3) Wait for GPS on Spark receives about 10 - 12 Satellites then take off, make sure that a popup "Home point recorded" or you can hear that voice from DJI Go. This is also a very important step. 4) Safety landing then hold Power Button 3 seconds until you hear a "Beep" sound from Spark. 5)  Power on the Controller and go to "Link Mode" by holding combination buttons : Pause + Fn + Custom until you hear "Beep ... Beep ... Beep..." sound. About few seconds later , led light on Controller should be changed from blink Green to solid Green. Link successful. Good luck....

Are you in a messy wifi area?
Check on interferences.

Have you connected it to your phone before?

I had horrible problems, today, at home.
Here are a lot of 2.4 Ghz Wifis, one of the busiest channels is channel 11.
And guess, which channel the RC wanna use to the phone.
On top, there are only few 5.8 wifis around, but again:
The Controller is choosing the "red" one!

I tried to calibrate the controller, but the "follow me" Dot stopped at the upper right corners.
Also the videolink to the phone was very unstable.

I changed the chanels, and could finish the calibration.

How does it look at your place?

Now I'm waiting my spark from service, will wright later

Service bring my spark back
And they told me, that reason of connection failure was because of RC.
I don't know unfortunately what they have done, but now it's connect to the drone without any problems.
To my question what was the problem, they told me that there was some software problems with RC.
Also that this is not so often issue, but sometimes it happens.
And told me that it was just my bad luck to purchase rc that can't connect to my drone. Cos as I described earlier my rc was able to connect to other drone when I went to the shop, so it just don't wanted connect to my.

If you have Problem connecting your Spark and your RC
try following
1 Turn off Controller and Spark
2 Turn on Controller
3 Reset Controller (long press for 9 second Power Button)
4 Turn Off Controller
5 Turn On Spark
6 Long press on Battery button for two beeps (6 second)
7 Turn off Spark
8 Turn On Spark
9 Long press on Battery button for three beeps (9 second)
10 Turn Off Spark
11 Turn On Spark
12 Once Again press on Battery button for two beeps (6 second) then (without turn off) press on Buttery button for 1 beep (3 cecond)
13 Turn on controller
14 Press tre battons Red Pause + Fn + Right Custom button till you hear short beeps and green sparking light
15 It must connect

I have the same issue have been trying for weeks, I followed your instructions and know my problem is solved, thank you very much

My remote did the same thing. Would not broadcast cast its wifi signal. I’m in week 3 of waiting for a new remote. I’ve contacted dji daily for 4 days now and all I get is “ it’s in process of being shipped to you”. They replaced the factory default one with a new one , but yet no one can give me a tracking number or when it ships. This is the worst customer service I’ve dealt with. 700$ drone grounded because DJI can’t get their crap together. I even paid over night shipping out of my pocket to get them the remote the very next day.

I just received my spark after repair (some stupid accident-my fault tho

I tried your technic and it actually worked!!!
Evenwhen i retry, witch is very nice to see..
