Is it possible to record only on the sd card on the spark.
I bought a tablet ASUS ZENPAD S 8.0 and when i hit rec the imagens lags on the screen, even stops!!!! And the record on the tablet is garbge...
I would like to stop recording on the tablet, is it possible?

Disable the 'Cache During Video Shooting', then it will stop to save the cache video on your tablet. You can find this option under General settings on the APP.

RECORD AUDIO WITH VIDEO CACHE ................................ DISABLE

LARGEST VIDEO CACHE CAPACITY ..................................... 1G CANT PUT LESS

AUTO CLEAN-UP VIDEO CACHE .......................................... DISABLE

So when video hits the 1G it will stop record right?

my Dji app is 1.05GB with disabled video cache on my ipad mini 2... im guessing some of that is cached maps, but 1.05GB is alot for the app.. curious if aybe ipad is caching stuff on behalf of the app?   (i doubt it though)  probably just the app got something stuck in cache.

Ok!... so in android it doesn't have the option...

i'm going to try to get to 1G... then the tablet will not record because it has no cache...

My apologies, I misunderstood something. This option is not available for Spark in Android device. We've already submitted a request to our R&D engineers, hope they can add this option to Spark.

This is extemely stupid.  I also have android and I want to disable video caching.  There is no point for the phone to save the data as well as the SD card on the Spark.  Please fix ASAP.  Very disappointed with the drone app, lots of stupid bugs and glitches, some very slow and poor performance makes flying the drone for photography basically useless.  I would not recommend DJI to anyone else unless the app is improved a lot.

Hi, sorry to read on this, may I know what is the version of your app? Have you tried to check if you have an option to disable the cache locally when recording and it's under General Settings?
