I cannot believe how incredibly easy it was my first time flying. It felt so natural to use the controller.

Here is a video of my first time flying with it!

I still need more practice with adjusting all the sensor settings to get an even better image.

Any tips or comments would be appreciated.

I had to come back to capture the actual sunset! The sun was behind the clouds the whole time, when we were leaving I looked back and saw it between the horizon and clouds I had to get back and capture that!

If that was truly your very first flight, all I can say is you've got some guts.  I hope you read the manual several times over and paid particular attention to all of the RTH gotchas that can cause a loss of hull incident.

Nice copilot you got there.

I was truly amazed how natural and easy it was to fly. Before I started recording I flew it around me no more than about 50 feet away to make sure that I had a good grasp on the controls. Really impressed with the product DJI has put out! Thank you for all the kind words and I hope to have a new video up soon!

I too had my first series of flights this Thursday.  I had taken time after my very first (5 min flight on factory battery) to modify the controls to make it easier for me to fly my P3S.  I haven't shot any videos yet but will probably do that on sunday, I've got too much work going on right now.  I'm still flying in Beginner mode but have managed to crash about three times (hitting various shrubs in the yard and flipping turtleback).  Its a learning curve I guess.

Props on the sunset footage!

Your video brought a broad smile to my kisser.

Thanks., keep at it. It will always improve, over time,  with more practice.
