Hello all. I found for quite small money the whole P4p camera as a spare part in New condition sold by the producing factory.
Now the 2 question:
-did she fit on a P4.
-will she work?

Short answer, maybe, I don't know. But I do know that you can turn a P3A into a P3P by putting a P3P camera and changing the firmware to match. It seems logical that you may be able to change a P4 into a P4A by changing the camera and firmware the same way.

The P4pro camera won't simply slip into your P4 drone.

Not right what u say. The buddy is besides some extra holes the same. Same the shape oF the cam basement.

Ha .. my answer been delite.   " No unath modification post will be delited"  wellcom to China.. a bit censorship.  I wish they would do the same effort to write bug free firmware instead watching this here..anyway.. thank you DJI..you gave me the answer.

It won't work
The P4 mainboard doesn't have what's needed to control the P4pro camera.

I second that. There are at least three functions, focus, aperture and mechanical shutter that are fitted to the P4P camera, and the P4 control board does not have these functions.

I get that board too in Tàobao,really cheap, but I will try to do without. What can happen?

We are sorry to tell you that the P4P camera is not compatible with P4 aircraft for now. And we do not suggest to replace it as it may void your warranty.

Hi Susan. Haha that's a good one. After dji goundet my drone by faulty firmware you have the face to tell me something like " vomiting the warranty"  watch out that I will not start to explain that means "my" and "yours"  and how much hours I hat to spent to deal with this darn firmware. And did you know that only the "terms and conditions" are valid on the day of purchase? So even when Dji change his words now, I don't care. Further more, Susan,  my toy is close by two years old. What warranty you would give me?  And please read all the words in this board about your warranty service, it's same horrible as the firmware.
So I will get this nice pieces in Tàobao and will twerk a bit. The P4 is already trashed by yours and your firmware, so what.

But in case it works, I will write here...

40 euro is not a waist. And off course I will never buy a DJI product I'm my life.  So I gonna tweak my. There nice groups having sort of open firmware.  That's what we need.

Why bother asking if you just ignore every answer?

I thought I got better answers than the preformatted by dji . They are made to protect the market, or why some of my words are censored and gone? Afraid that customer figure out?

There's nothing to work out.  It won't work as the P4 pro camera is not compatible with the P4 drone.
But this has been explained to you more than once already.
I won't waste any more effort on you.
