I think that you answered instead asking.
I had to install a previous version of dji go, because the current version crashes in android.
I fell bad about DJI support, and i am very concearned about it.

Litchi is a cleaner application that is more for actual flight than an attempt at an all-in-one app like dji go. Just flying with litchi, no editing or sky pixels. ..

you also have to pay for the app.

Its true that is a cleaner app and to be honest I don't mind paying for it. What I don't understand is why can't DJI have an app as good as litchi?  Its not  right to pay for an app as the stock DJI is crap

Sorry, but I have to disagree on this point. To do so, I will offer the overused, beaten-horse analogy to the automobile industry:

All cars (now) come with a radio and speakers. Many, many car owners spend lots of cash upgrading the audio system, replacing the stock head unit and stock speakers with superior equipment. Many of those upgraders would be quick to refer to the stock radio as crap...

...and speaking of motor vehicles, have you seen any un-modded (stock) Harleys on the road?
