Spark falling from the sky

After a trip to China (very close to DJI HQ!) and a number of interesting flights, I just returned to the US. I decided to do a quick flight in my backyard. However, this one turned out to be a disaster: it suddenly loses power and dropped from sky and broke the camera from about 40fts. It had full charge and is a brand new battery (with correct charging behavior). How can I file a claim? Thanks.

I am glad this did not happened in China. If the drone dropped like this in Shanghai, I would be in serious trouble.

I was just flying in my backyard, doing ascend-then-descend flight to see the sunset. There was no side-to-side movement. Simple. It descended fine but suddenly dropped as it approached from sky. I remember the last altimeter reading was like 30-40ft.

Exactly happened to me but at 91 meters.. just it turned off and fell like a brick from sky.. imagine what happen to 91 mts.

i got a new spark yesterday and try to fly with rc. when i did auto take off. it go up and fall down around 0.3m. when try to going up. it go up and suddenly fall 1m and going up again. losy signal issue. 70m height and 10m far. suddenly got disconnect. when it up to 45m. i got connected again. how come dji make 5.8ghz to be standard?

I know you are being sarcastic. An automated label generation system should not be this slow unless there is some problem in the workflow. Also, there is a time limit sending the item.

LOL, never say the problem is serious here, because apparently Dji is the greatest thing since oxygen, and even oxygen has its flaws... oh god.... RIP me

additon. i own 04 and mavic. i bought spark due to easy to carry. end up i dont think i can trust it. DJI please fix the issue.

You may be sure they will fix, but nobody will know when Sparks will just stop to fall (of course not already sold ones).
I think its hardware issue, and recall will be too expensive for them.

Update: I just received the email informing me that my Spark has been repaired (and tested + QC'd) free of charge. I hope it will stay in the air as long as it has some battery left. At least land semi-gracefully.
