Anyone else going to film this? I want to get my Mavic in the air to see what I can capture.

I included an interactive map below that will tell you what time and how much of the sun will be covered by the moon depending on your area.

What ISO & shutter speed are you going to use?
Likewise, anyone going to use a filter?
What about other effects to get something creative out of the eclipse?

We suggest the camera not facing the sun directly to prevent the solar burning the camera. You can add an ND Filter onto the camera.

If you're going to film the sun with your Mavic, you must fit a very strong filter for this purpose in front of the camera.
If you don't, you'll literally burn a permanent hole into the image sensor.
BTW, this precaution goes for any camera and certainly also for your eyes!
