At times the flight logs page, when I scroll to the aircraft part, shows text "lower_version_boardnum" instead of my AC name. This text string also seeps into the logs, so some logs will show "BumblerBee", and some will show "lower_verion_boardnum" in the under the Mavic icon in the upper left corner of the flight log player

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I submitted a bug report on this.

Could you please provide us with the screenshots of this case?

Thank you, could you also offer a screenshot of the "BumblerBee" in the upper left corner? What are your mobile device and DJI GO 4 app version? I had forwarded this case to our engineers, and will reply you once I heard from them.

If I were you, I would uninstall DJI GO 4, restart the mobile device and then re-install DJI GO 4.

You may lose a setting or two, difficult to say, also make sure your maps are still downloaded.
Just go through the settings and write down what you need, or better still, take screenshots of everything.
You will lose nothing that can't be recovered.

I had received your PM and replied you. Please check. And for the question below, MC settings will be stored in the aircraft, so it might not be changed. But it might change the camera settings to default. So you can note down the camera settings now and then reinstall the app.

I am also seeing the same issue. Sometimes I'm lower_version_boardnum,m other times I'm Jyunte.

I have the same error with multiple devices like the mavic and P4 can you guys help me? all my flight are sync you can check.

Hi, I have the same issue. And when I have uninstalled and reinstalled the DJI Go 4 app I have lost all my precedent records...

Today my Mavic is "Mavic ProkQ". App added "kQ" to the end.

Since several days now I have always and only "lower_version_boardnum". The name given to my Mavic I don't see it anymore. And my previous records have disappeared since I reinstalled the app, even though I had synced them. There is anything that can I do? It's annoying to always see this name...

Had you also tried to sync again? They should come out when you sync again if the records were synced successfully before.

I have this issue too, it happens since I start using CrystalSky. Some of my flight put under the aircraft name "lower_version_boardnum".

May I hv ur dji account? I need to check ur synced records for details.

For old version app, there is no guarantee for fetching the drone's name, resulting in lower board num display

I was wondering if there is a fix for this? I just recently bought a spark, and I am having the same issue where a few of my flights are logged under the fake device name lower_version_broadnum thanks in advance.

Same issue with my mavic pro. I just noticed today after a flight in a different location.

Similar issue with my spark today,
Totally lost communication to the drone within 10m distance.
Reconnected after about 15sec  and found that the flight session was split into 2 separate ones, second one showed lower version boardnum in the name.

I too have noticed the “lower_version_boardnum”. At this point I have three listed under my flight logs all from using a newly purchased spark. I decided to google it right after my Spark lost control. I was flying with the controller at the time. Was about 20m away when it just flew off and crashed into a tree at 30m altitude.  

I am getting the same thing. It will not let me fly very far. It sets my hight to zero and well as my distance. I had reinstalled the GO app and it works fine untill sysc flight log. Back to the bug.
No more syncing for me.

I just found this thread on a google search for the same issue flying a Spark. Aside from a few video cut-outs at pretty close range I didn't experience any control issues and Lower-Version only logged 3ft at 0.2mph.

What does seem weird is that one of my flights got cut up into a couple segments on the log, but I chocked that up to entering "quick shot" or "active track" modes, which I was fooling around with.

Otherwise everything is on the latest firmware and I had no issues.

I saw this entry as well with only 1 flight on record.  When I tracked it down, it was from the Mavic.  Is there any fix to this?

Same here. Very short flight lost all control of aircraft. It self landed, and shut down.  Now it wont start back up. Said it was still in flight after landing. Lefs shut off battery was still lit up at 75% No led lights will even flash upon startup anymore.  Im dead in the water. Aircraft disconnected shows on app. Cant re sync controller w aircraft. WHAT A MESS.  

What?!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the same "lower_version_boardnum" showed up when I got my inspire, I have a regular one that I named inspire 1 with 36+ of my flights and 3 flights on "lower_version_boardnum" what is this all about?

Still no fix... this “bug” ot what ever it is. Killed my phantom. When i power on, i get the first initial 3 -4 beeps. Then nothing.  No LEDS light up, no gimbel action. No light on gimbel.  Just a big boat anchor.
