Hello all,

I did the last update last week on the Inspire 2 and after having it completed perfectly, the landing gear refused to lower to travel mode.

Since that day, i cannot move my landing gear anymore.

I've tried to activate the landing gear while flying and tried every combination of manual or automatic but nothing happened, it stays stuck at the lower position and software thinks its upper position.

THe message i have on the Go App 4 is " Failed to lower or pack up landing gear..."

Any clue how to fix this ?

Seems that i'am not the only one facing this issue !

Damn !

You can try to turn the screw underneath the aircraft to see if it got stuck.

Please refresh the firmware by DJI Assistant 2 to see if the problem persists.
You can also try the suggestion by 3# for troubleshooting.

i'am trying to refresh with factory preset and give it a new try for down update the I2.

I wait from dji support the confirmation before i try to unscrew anything.

Unfortunately the firmware cannot be downgraded at the moment, just try to refresh the firmware and let us know if it works or not.

I did two update with the last one, i can't do anything else.

I still have this issue.

The screw beneath the I2 is hard to manipulate.

My I2 is stuck with landing gear downward, in the landing and take off position. Would you turn the screw clockwise ou anti-clockwise ?

It should be turned anti-clockwise with the aircraft nose in front.

If it is hard to manipulated, the drone will be sent in for repair. Sorry for that.

Thanks, i try the screw solution but it seems not te be easy.

I'am in contact with DJI and they say because it cannot enter the transport mode, it cannot travel safely from where i live to where it can be repaired. (Réunion ISland to Germany / 11 000 km by plane)

Problem solved ! I think i have forced the wrong way on the screw beneath the I2 and it was then really hard to turn.

Seeking for another reason i had the whole lower plate taken apart and with that configuration i managed to freely operate the screw and put the gear to travel mode.

I put everything in place again and try it, the bird reborn and now it work again.

After all, i think that i made a mistake on the rotation but it is weird that the update inverted the position of the gear.

Is there a gear position recomended to do update ? (take of or travel mode ?)

To answer EagleEyeUAV, i have about 100 flights with my I2, operating profesionnaly here in France. (Réunion Island)
