I  have only had my P4P for abount 2 months only have flown it 8 times. Never was abrupt always treated it like a baby ( mainly because I dont want to crash it)

I was going through this site and ready a thread about the stress cracks. I checked out mine and no stress cracks, however, I did notice the "access doors" on the upper part of the leg ( not really sure what u call them)  and one of them looks to be coming open. Tired to push it back in and it wont reset back.

My question is should I just wrap some scotch tape around it so while in flight I dont loose it?


any one else have this problem?

Yes, it seems to be a problematic piece, some of these little things doesn't want to sit neatly and may fall off. Sure you can scotch it, these are hard-to-get parts not sold separately.

I also encounter the same problem

After adding my replacement "doors" (for two that fell off), I wrapped cloth tape around all four of them. That silicon tape suggestion sounds great though.
