A fellow DJI Mavic Pilot got an error telling him to calibrate vision sensors.

Before calibrating will start he gets a message to "reboot aircraft"... what does DJI mean with that! Het switched off/on Mavic but DJI Assistant stops every time with "reboot aircraft" message.

If he is using windows 10 , this has a "driver signature enforcement function that prevents loading drivers that are not digitally assigned.

I had the same reboot problem when calibrating my mavic vision system, apparently the vision drivers are not digitally assigned and cannot be loaded, hence the apps asks for the AC to be rebooted.

You need to turn off the windows 10 driver signature enforcement by following "solution 1" on this link. once you go through this process and the computer restarts you should be able to run the vision calibration.

Please note the turning  off  of the driver signature enforcement is temporary so when you reboot the pc, it will be reset and you won't be able to do the vision calibration again, you will need to turn it off each time you want to it.

I get the same message on my windows 7 laptop and desktop doesnt even get that far just sits waiting to calibrate..... What can I do!

Please try to disable digital signature of the driver and reinstall DJI Assistant 2.

Wouldn't it be easier if DJI would get these drivers certified and therefore usable without any tricks (not everybody has enough knowledge how to get past this)...

That is why I broke off the installation of DJI Assistant 2 on my Windows 7 machine.

The fellow DJI Mavic pilot did a re-install of DJI Assistant 2 and was able to re-calibrate the vision sensors... Got a warning on the computer (didn't tell me what that warning was), but got no warnings when starting Mavic & RC... Problem solved...

No wonder the United States Army commanded all personnel to discontinue usage of ALL DJI products and remove the batteries !

Yes this is really shame, quality of drivers of DJI assistant is comparable to aliexpress china fake things. Company of worldwide dimensions with worldwide market share should really invest time into this and finally deliver better quality of software including all drivers to be fully signed.
