ever since the new Firmware came out, I can not take a picture without the getting a blank screen and the gimble locking left. When I do a gimble calibration it locks at 50%. Come on DJI fix the problem.

Being completely unfamiliar with your situation, Is this a common problem or just with your drone?



I wonder if you could reinstall the firmware, or go back one version even?

That made me giggle... I consder myself rather handsome, and debonair too, but so far none of these drone ailments have happened upon my flight kit.  Ha

If it has been experienced by others, and noted, then I'm sure a near fix is imminent from DJI.

Same thing happened to me yesterday.  When I powered off the battery on the P4P and powered it back on, it seemed to work fine, but I am uncertain if the calibration is 100% correct

Cna you post a picture or video when you try to take a picture? maybe We can help assist with your problem

Does this happen when its flying? Try and calibrate your gimbal if you havent done so.

it happens on the ground and in the air. When I calibrate it locks up at 50%.

Try calibrating the IMU first.

Once that is done - power off your UAV, controller and App,

Restart all - then try the gimbal calibration.

I had to do similar when my gimbal cal kept locking at 50%, and got help from DJI Customer Service.

They're not all bad.

I would recommend you to calibrate IMU first and calibrate gimbal camera immediately. If no helps, please PM me your DII account(the email address when you logged in DJI GO), I'd like to push the beta firmware and try again.

You could try doing a reset of the camera settings.

Go into the app and change the setting on the camera from Follow to FPV, mine was doing this: and that cured it

Just downgrade.  There are links in this forum. Do not wait for any help of dji if you want fly soon again, and save. The downgrade is a original Rom of dji. So do not listen to the clowns who said.. warranty  is harmed.. you can upgrade when ever (?0 there is a firmware who is reliable.
I downgraded and at least I can use the toy. I downgraded also the APP on android., just because the new terms of use are not to accept and harming my customer rights of my country.  But off course, some people here know better.always.

How about doing IMU calibration first and do camera calibration immediately? Also, please remove the SD card or change to another SD card to confirm.
