This story is SCARY in a way . . we are talking AUTONOMOUS DRONES . . over 100 in a SWARM (launched from a fighter jet passing over head) . . all thinking on their own . . working as a group with one goal in mind . . to follow it's "MAIN DIRECTIVE" (follow . . watch . . record) . . dammmmmm this is getting scary !!!

Let's just wait for the Skynet and John Connor!
Unfortunately, my opinion is that we don't even have the ability to see what will come through as we are in the process of change.
But it is imperative for us to think about.

They did something like that (although not 100% autonomous more semi-autonomous synchronized flying ) with 135 drones lit up with colored LED's during the half time show of the Super Bowl show back  in January, and they did it over a large group of people (imagine that)
pretty impressive none the less.

Interesting time we live in.

This is how I felt the instant I launched my MP, put it in gesture mode and had it follow me around the yard.   There was something creepy about it floating there staring at me.

If they let us see this technology just imagine what they may have that we may not see. The swarm and it's future abilities can be mind boggling!

Imagine being the target...and hearing the "the swarm" coming from a distance.  The sound they make would seem intimidating in and of itself.  It reminds me of Hitchcock's "The Birds".
