Hi guys,

took the Spark on vacation to Mallorca and put in some next-level selfies.
Often times shooting with Quickshots (Helix, Dronie).

Only thing I wish I had, would have been a polarizer (CPL). Am using one when shooting with the DSLR and really miss it for more saturated colors on the spark.

Also around noon time, when the sun was brightest, the Spark was struggling with the highlights, which easily washed out, e.g. when starting up close with ourselves in the shot and then flying backwards with the dronie capturing the surroundings.

Overall, it was great fun to capture this new kind of selfies in all three dimensions ;)

The spark being my first drone, it makes me want MORE
More flight time, more resolution, more FPS... curious about the upcoming Mavic Pro.

Had the Spark in my hand luggage with Ryan Air. No problems at all.
In Spain it is not allowed to fly higher than 120m, other than that, no license, insurance or the like is required.

Thanks for airline info. Hearing so many scare stories. The spark is so good it's just a holiday camera really.( Latest upgrade good. Range better , dronie, helix good.).
Love to take it to Teneriffe.

Edited in Final Cut Pro X, mostly for cutting, Exposure and Color Correction.

Coming from a photography background, I have to get used to shooting with more motion in mind, telling stories through the clips.. the drone opens so many possibilities, it is great fun.

The spark looks so little and cute, people come up and ask what it is and what it does and start conversations about it... I like answering their questions (I mean, we all like to talk about drones, right?), but the time is ticking (battery life) and they are in the shot!! D
It looks a lot less "intimidating" than the bigger ones. However, I would never fly around too many people, not only for safety reasons, but also to not annoy them with the drone sound while enjoying beautiful nature ;)

I took to Crete recently, via Bristol Airport and asked the security, they had no issue at all and had none on way back either... they didn't even look at it, just stuck in bag like photograph equipment, I did make sure batteries were 50% capacity to alleviate any pressure issues.
