Decided to take out the spark for its first proper flight. There was a moment with a flock of birds but other than that it was easy flying. Couldn't get the palm landing to work this time for some reason. Ended up reversing from the palm launch to fit the idea I had for the clip. You can find a short clip below.

How close is that to an airport? (I noticed a plane flying low)

I am wondering about palm landing indeed.
If it does work in 'normal' flight modes, or just in gesture mode.

Thanks, the nearest airport should be 8-10 miles away. I only realized the plane after reviewing the footage. Had I seen it then I would have brought the Drone down pronto.

Gesture control does need to be turned on for palm landing, however, you can still Pilot normally with the RC even if it's on, It's just an optional feature. I leave gesture control on in case I need to impress someone . Just wasn't working for me this time, Gesture control can be hit or miss.
