Does tripod mode help taking steadier photos on windy days?

On a static position will be tripod mode makd the drone more steady? Mainly for long exposure shots

I think so, unfortunately you can’t be in tripod when you take panoramic pictures.

Why do you need tripod mode for panorama?
The overlap in pictures will allow for some change in position.
Sure there might be a very little parallelax effect but that would not be an issue.

Or do you want long exposure panorama pictures?

tripod mode allows you to move your drone direction in slow motion .. allowing to make minor adjustment in position softly no quick and abrupt.  My guess would be that it would hover more accurately, given good GPS connection.

My experience is that the tripod mode only affect the moving drone. The postioning isn't more exact with it turned on or off.

Like Drik52 mentioned, it only affects the reaction of the drone itself. Can not enhance the anti-wind capacity.

Thanks for the reply,

It would be nice to have in this mode enchanced sensors frequency so it can become more steady whe hovering, I find this particularly  useful in night pictures with long exposure.
