I didn't anything to the spark only FW updates...
7045m is not distance to the RC!...
Distance done with one battery... 11min flight...

Wow, the furthest I have gotten with an unmodified Spark is 8000 ft. from the RC.  Some on the forum have reported just over 10k feet.  14.4k ft. is crazy impressive!  That's really far!

Why was that?
With the big screen video it was clear that he got it from the SD.

Interesting for me:
He did not mention something, that he had to recover the videodata-file.
(just learned about that myself, switching spark off, but still capturing: unreadable file)
So the Spark must have stopped videoing, before the battery failed.
I think, it did not even fall of the sky!
But landed in the end safely.

In order to get such high altitude, you could only do this by a mod of some sort. All dji AC are limited to 500 metres also Portugal is part of Europe so his max distance is also limited to 500 metres. I'm also not sure if it's possible to go so far on one battery.

But most obvious thing about it is it's not a Spark or at least is doesn't say Spark anywhere, so FAKE NEWS.

as for the max distance, you say it is limited to 500 m : this is only an advertised limitation due to (theoretical) transmit power of RC.
I've not done mod of any kind to my hardware. I suppose it is under EU regulations (also this is not displayed anywhere) and I'm getting usually over 700 m range, up to 1000 m (on 5.8 GHz)

It is impossible to fly a spark or any other dji drone higher than 500 metres without some mod . So maybe some fake stuff going on.

I think there may be confusion here :

Top distance is the total travelled distance in one flight, not the max range.

about the altitude, my flight records displays 818.4 m and this is about the topographic altitude in my area, so I guess it must be the max takeoff altitude or something like that (because obviously max altitude has been around 800 + 120 m talking AMSL and around 850 + 120 talking allipsoidal height as geoid separation is about 50 m in France (rough approx)

Yesterday i turned on spark in car moving ( was not me driving the car) the dji go app was saying spark speed was 140 km/h. If i tryed to launch it but holding it in my hand probably my top speed was going to be 140 and distance many km... so...

Hypothetically:  Different developers in different geographies.  And probably not extensive use of a shared framework.

My guess is that the label on Android is wrong. It says "altitude" but is in fact max takeoff altitude.

As far as I'm concern, I'm on Android and it says 818 m which is coherent with the max takeoff altitude (and of course not coherent with any height above ground which would be better wording than altitude...)
