Does the gl300f p4p controller work on the p4a?

     The best answer would be from a DJI Team member, but the GL300F has two communications frequencies, 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz.  The P4A uses the GL300C controller, the same one as the original P4.  It also turns out that the GL300E used with the P4 Pro + (plus) is the same RC used with the P4 Adv + (plus).  The compatibilities should go like this:

GL300C  -  P4    P4A

GL300E  -  P4 Adv + (plus)    P4 Pro + (plus)

GL300F  -  P4 Pro

     So, if you want an alternative remote controller for your P4 Adv you could use the remote controller for the P4.  The P4 Pro remote controller is unique because it is the only Phantom that uses both communication frequencies (2.4 & 5.8 GHz).  The Mavic used the two frequencies but only without the remote controller (device only mode).  The Inspires do use both frequencies but their remote controller is different.

Nope, actually, you can find it in the Specs of P4A.

Actually you can, I have a P4A+ and I purchased a backup remote. I got the GL300F and in the app you have to change the setting to show that you are flying a P4A. Restart the remote and try linking. It should work.

My remote (GL300F) and P4A are successfully linked!

I have the problem linking RC GL300F w/my Aircraft P4A.

I don't know why i cannot update P4A firmware with Dji Assistant 2 on the laptop, so i have no way to update it.

My RC doesn't recognize my aircraft.

Dose the P4A (GL300e) remote work with the Mavic 2 pro/zoom and/or the Mavic pro/platinum?
