I purchased an 8" Samsung Galaxy Tab A about 3 weeks ago and it's worked very well with both the DJI Go app and Litchi app.  The tablet has built in GPS.  The model is SM-T280.  It's only 8 gig of onboard RAM, but the tablet is only for my drone so I keep the onboard apps to a minimum.

I bought A Tab A 8 " and even tho I have most of the apps disabled sometimes the lag is terrible and it takes forever to catch up.
