Thanks TMUSVI!...
For the price i think i'm going to buy...
At least the video signal will be better, and i'll have more control in the 500m range.

my personal experience with range extenders of this type is they are super hit/miss. i cannot figure out a pattern.   sometimes clear advantage to them working other times its fairly equal with or without them.   i have 2 sets.. cheapy one and a slightly more premium one.. both from amazon both perform identically.  i have tried it on my spark i used to own, i have to say not worth it, at least in FCC areas where have higher output.  only run where was clear advantage to them was one  run i did from friends hour to a gas station 1.5 miles away, the spark without them barely got 2,200 feet because so much in the way, so many trees and hills and homes and blah.  but with the extender cups the little spark made it all the way there and all the way back... it was the only time when it made a clear difference.  i could not repeat it again however, so i dont know if that very moment of the test conditions favored that signal or if they really did their magic..

with the mavic pro however it seems it actually is not as ideal, i think because mavic pro is outputting a lot more power and senses reflection coming back into the antennas it cuts power slightly to prevent damage to the circuits..  that's a theory but with my mavic pro it has been less then ideal at all tests, not one time it thus far extended my range at all..

already a step ahead.. got my mavic pro.  however dont expect the mavic pro to work better on these signal booster cups either.  without any mods or anything i'm extremely happy with the range and battery run time, the mavic range and battery life is perfect.    my longest run thus far is 4.46 miles out before signal was worrying me, it wasn't fully recovering from its blockiness and graininess and warnings all over about signal.. but there i was running these test less than ideal.. also tested it in my car see how far it goes and very impressive..   manages around 1/4 mile before i get warnings.. thats a big zone to play around with if your trying to follow your own car around from the air..

not a problem.  we're both learning as we go!  i two wish the spark was better though.  spark is the perfect size for a lot of things.  but the mavic pro isn't that much more of a burden to carry! and its worth it for over 20 minutes of run time, about 25 avg if you're gentle and smooth and in normal mode.. or depending how aggressive you are, 15-18 minutes in sport mode racing around..  wireless range is said to be 7KM which is about 5 miles.. 4.5 miles i dont know exactly but i managed to get extremely close to that range and not only that i'm sure if i had a more wide open area i could beat that.

Looking forward to that.
Also how it behaves in general (like do you need to point your RC more exact to the AC etc.)

CE land - An easy test that I did that seemed to confirmed to me that do work, was to fly the spark out over 200m - I would then add and then remove the reflectors several time while watching the signal strength.  In every case, when I removed the reflectors the signal strength dropped. I now always carry it with me and quickly add it when needed.  Generally I do use it, because I am not always facing the drone and if your not with reflectors attached, they do more harm than good.

ooosh, i ordered two, one for the mavic and for the spark i got for my son but....i plan on getting a second spark for myself  now because of this, i love my mavic pro but its just easier to get into tight places with a spark and based ont he specs i cant see how a booster does anything for the mavic since the batteries drain out by the time you get out there and have to RTH, :/
