Can anyone help me with this video artifact (see video below). Notice the water color keeps flashing. What is it and how can i prevent it from happening?

Is this the video from your mobile, or from the SD?
Strange artifacts also.

Montfroij, it is from the sd. I can see the artifact on the screen while recording.

Do you have an ND filter on it? The shutter speed being high can produce some strange pulsing effects (observable in grass and water).  Also if you are using the Phantom 4 (not pro) the 60mbs data and codec rate may not be able to keep up with the complex patterns in the water..

I did have a ND filter on, however I removed it today and tested without it with the same result (this time over a green wooded area).
Btw, on closer inspection I can see the artifacts over the whole frame, it is just more easily visible over water or greenery.
I didn't understand the data and codec rate stuff. I do have a Phantom 4 (not pro).

May I know which drone do you use? Please try to reset the camera settings first to check again.

It was shot with the Phantom 4. Resetting the camera settings doesn't seem to change much

Why is it only 720p?
It really looks different from SD footage to me.
Or did you downscale / compress it later?

That's a good question, the upload must be compressing it.
