I have on my iPhone 7 Plus a very thin clear silicon case/cover type thing as i find the surface of the iPhone too slippy to grip it weighs mere grams.

Question is : will it fit in the Osmo's holder and will it balance ok with the case on. I do not want to remove it to use it.

I would not recommend you use the case. It will make it harder for osmo mobile to keep balance and increase the burden on gimbal.

Thanks for that but would 14g seriously make a difference?

You can see if the gimbal works normally. Extra weight may affect the balance of osmo mobile and has a bad influence on its work performance.
