i have a question. I have had a chance to fly the phantom 2 v3.0 plus and enjoyed the video and photos.  I actually have two questions.  One... If we are just talking photos only, is there much difference in having the v2+ versus the version 2? Or are they about the same?



Secondly... In everyone's expert opinion, which quad is the best bang for the buck and why?

I have the V+ so my opinion will be slightly biased towards that model.
However If you are taking photos only then there really is no difference between the two Visions as they use the same FC200 camera.
The gimbal on the V+ only really comes into its own when shooting video, although it also helps to keep the photos nice and level, but if you stop and hover before taking a photo the Vision will be just as good.
But if you ever want to take some super smooth video in the future, you will wish you went for the V+
